Our vibrant founder, Cris Embleton began Healing The Children nearly 30 years ago with the goal to provide life saving surgeries to children in develping countries. In 2006, Cris changed the name of the California chapter to Mending Kids International and her work has provided surgeries to over 410 children in just 4.5 years!
